According to the information, this petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of lawyer Vishal Tiwari. In this petition, a demand has also been made to constitute an expert committee under the chairmanship of a retired judge of the Supreme Court to investigate the impact of the scheme on national security and the army.
Defense Minister holding a meeting with the chiefs of the three services
Let us inform that an important meeting is going on at the residence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Agneepath scheme. The three army chiefs are also involved in this meeting. Apart from this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has announced to give 10 percent reservation to Agniveers who have completed 4 years under the Agneepath scheme in the recruitment of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and Assam Rifles.
Congress will protest at Jantar Mantar

Youth across the country have come out on the streets against this scheme and incidents of violence have been registered from many cities and towns.
