Delhi Crime News: At least 83 people have been arrested for public nuisance and hooliganism in the southwest region of the national capital Delhi. An official gave this information on Friday. The officer said that a juvenile was also arrested during this period.
The accused were creating a ruckus on the streets
Let us tell you that the infamous accomplices of a man released from jail were walking on the road creating ruckus to celebrate. Sharing the information, DCP (South West) Manoj C. said on Thursday that Abid Ahmed (37) of Govind Puri police station's 'Bad Character' has been released on bail from Tihar Jail.
Parade was being taken out to bring the fellow released from jail
The DCP said, "An input was received that several notorious associates and 'bad characters' are coming to pick him up (his jailed mates) and doing 'show off parade' through Delhi Cantt area, causing public nuisance. And an atmosphere of hooliganism is being created.
The entire convoy of the accused was running gracefully
Police stopped them near Kirby Palace at around 10.30-11.00 pm. "A total of 19 four-wheelers and two two-wheelers were seized and 83 people arrested," the official said. He further said that out of the 83 people arrested, 33 are accused of offenses like murder, attempt to murder, dacoity and Arms Act.
