कांग्रेस ने दावा किया कि पार्टी नेताओं और कार्यकर्ताओं को कांग्रेस मुख्यालय पहुंचने से रोका जा रहा है तथा सिर्फ दो मुख्यमंत्रियों अशोक गहलोत एवं भूपेश बघेल को ‘24 अकबर रोड’ पहुंचने की अनुमति दी गई है. उसने यह भी कहा कि कांग्रेस और राहुल गांधी झुकने वाले नहीं हैं.

MP Tagore said that when several MPs of the party were not allowed to go to the Congress headquarters, they tried to go to the Parliament House complex so that they could protest in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, but they were not allowed to enter the Parliament premises. He alleged that the Delhi Police was acting like an 'agent' of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, "What is this happening in the country? Have we become a 'Banana Republic'? Is this democracy? The Constitution is being flouted."
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, "On the first day (Monday), 200 people got permission to go to the Congress headquarters. Yesterday some leaders and today it has reached the limit. It was said that only two chief ministers can visit the party headquarters. Even the employees are not able to reach. That had never happened."
Congress MP Deepender Hooda shared a video saying that the police have 'sealed' his residence. He tweeted, "Since this morning my Delhi residence has been sealed by Delhi Police, family members as well as hundreds of supporters are present at home...Is it a crime to hold a peaceful march in Delhi?"
BJP's target on Congress's performance
BJP has attacked the performance of Congress. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the real face of Congress has come to the fore. Violence is taking place in the name of demonstration. Arson was done in the demonstration. BJP spokesperson said that Rahul is only an MP. Rahul is not Congress President.
He said that under the guise of violence, efforts are being made to hide corruption, how small the leadership of the Congress party is visible. It is clearly visible that from Gandhi's era to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, how small and how dwarf the Congress is becoming.
Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the people of the party whose two former Prime Ministers had surrendered themselves to Bharat Ratna while in the government, the people of the same family have surrendered all the property and money of the organization formed with the help of the freedom fighters. .
