The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has made a strict rule to ban single use plastic. CPCB has clearly said that from July 1, if anyone sells or uses single-use plastic, strict action will be taken against him.

The CPCB has also released a list of single use plastic, which is completely banned from July 1. 200 companies are making products for the alternative of all these products. For this they do not need to renew their license.

- candy stick

- ice cream stick

- thermocol

- plastic plates

- plastic cup

- plastic packing material

- Plaster and PVC banners (less than 100 microns)


Strict action will be taken against those who use plastic


In an order passed by the CPCB, it has been said that if single use plastic is used in any shop, then the shop will be given a trade license. To get the license again, the shopkeeper will have to apply again by paying a fine.
