Sultan Mahmud had broken the top of the temple
According to the report, Kalika Mata's temple is built on the top of the hill in Pavagadh in Panchmahal district of Gujarat. This temple was built in the 11th century. The spire of this temple was demolished during the attack on Champaner in the 15th century by the Muslim invader Sultan Mahmud Begada. Along with this, the dargah of Pir Sadanshah was built there. Since the top of the temple was occupied by the Dargah Management. That is why for so many years no shikhar or pillar could be installed there, so that the ensign of the temple could be hoisted.
After the conversation, the dargah moved from the top of the temple
Ashok Pandya, the trustee of the Kalika Temple in Pavagadh, said that the shifting of the dargah from the top of the temple was done by its management. After several rounds of talks, the officials of the Dargah Committee accepted this request and vacated the upper spire of the temple. After which the way was paved for the installation of a pillar to hoist the flag there.
The temple is included in the list of world heritage
According to the report, this temple of historical importance (Kalika Temple in Pavagadh) is part of Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park. UNESCO has included this temple in the list of world heritage. Every day hundreds of devotees reach this temple for darshan. 125 crores have been spent on the beautification of this temple. This includes the beautification of the area around the temple and the widening of the stairs.

Along with this, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Surat, Udhna, Somnath and Sabarmati stations as well as other railway projects.
